About Us
Dr. Denese Lamb was born and raised in Beckley, West Virginia. Being one of 14 siblings, a twin, of her Parents the late Pastor Julius and Evang. Eula Richardson. She was brought up in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Parents were old-fashioned disciplines; better known back then as “Strict Holiness.” Denese had several experiences early in life which led her to believe she was destined for Ministry. She was baptized and became a Spirit-filled believer at the age of twelve. Loving the Ministry, even then she participated in many different capacities serving the Lord; Praise Team leader was a favorite of hers. Some of her offices includes serving as Youth Director, Usher Board President, Pastor’s Aid, Armor Bearer, and Secretarial duties. Whatever, and wherever the need, she was found helping. Denese then moved to Columbus, Ohio. This is where she really got to know her husband, the currently known “Apostle Bishop Gary Lamb, Sr.” They were united in holy matrimony in 1975 in McRoberts, KY. To God be the Glory, they plan to celebrate 50 years of marriage in March 2025, if the Lord’s Will. To this union God blessed them with two sons—Gary Lamb Jr., age 46, and Sloane Jackson, age 43 (a great nephew they raised as their own), and 2 grandchildren.Denese began working diligently in the Ministry under her father-in-law, Bishop Willie Lamb, Sr. During that time she was ordained and licensed in 1982. After receiving her nursing degree, Denese and Gary relocated to Georgetown, Kentucky where she worked in her career as a critical care nurse. They began Ministry in their home in 1988. In 1990 she was ordained Pastor, under the leadership of her husband, Bishop Gary Lamb, Sr., and has been faithful to that post for 42 years in the Ministry.
Desiring to further her education, she received her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Christian Education; by the Grace of God and the help of her husband, she received a Doctorate of Divinity in 1996. In 2022 she completed a degree in Psychology.
On her Spiritual journey, Dr. Lamb has Prayed, Fasted, Evangelized, Prophesied, nurtured, cooked, cleaned, clothed, and chastised, but most of all LOVED the People of God. To God be the Glory for the things He has Done. Some of the countries she has Ministered in: Africa in Tanzania and Kenya, Jamaica, Israel, the Bahamas and Hawaii.
The Lord spoke to Dr. Lamb and sent confirmation, saying “Gather My Women.” Because of her obedience to the Holy Spirit, she recently finished her 22nd Annual Women of Faith Conference. These conferences bring women from all walks of life, nationalities, and denominations to one place, time, and One Goal—that is to Lift up the Name of Jesus and Receive from Him. Dr. Lamb is (in her own words), Striving to be an humble Woman of God, and believes that Holiness is not a Religion but is the Way of Life. Her desire is to live so that God will use her Anywhere and Anytime. She loves the People and the Work of the Lord and is a Woman after God’s Own Heart.
